This is a wonderful painting; 
A long-term painting, I’ve been quietly working on.. this like a passion project. 
Have finally decided to finish it and release it i Framed beautifully by Edges Framing in Havelock North .
 Anubis and The First Cat , is based on a sculpture by New Zealand artist Bronwyn Cornish , the  cat is based on the first cat that I ever had as a young teenager and  ever since a cat has always arrived , not long after its predecessor had departed .
So this painting is about being light of heart ; Egyptian dieties  would  weigh your heart against a feather if your heart was lighter than a feather then basically you’ve done a good job. 
So it is with great delight that I release this beautiful oil painting into the wider world.
